I Believe There is Hope After the hCG Diet!
Thursday, April 11, 2013
Coming off the hCG diet, on top of all the awful side effects I encountered, something was really worrying me. People were sharing their hCG Diet stories and telling me how they had tried it or a friend had and they'd all gained back massive weight after going off the diet. One friend hadn't gained but she was training for half marathons. Well, sure, if you train for half marathons, there is no need for any extreme diet, hCG or otherwise. So, why you ask, didn't people share their horror stories because I started this diet?
Easy, because I, like others, did not share I was doing the diet. Most people don't. Once I started sharing my side effects with friends, THEN I started hearing all the horror stories.
A search online isn't any better. I found so many stories online of people who became really fat after the diet. Some people said their metabolism never bounced back. I refuse to be one of those people. Yes, my metabolism right now is the slowest it has ever been but I will get it back. And, now, I feel like I may have a bit of a game plan to do so.
I remain hopeful.

| ONTHEPATH24/11/2013 11:12AM | I too got caught up in the HCG thing - dropped 28 lbs in 40 days. I was tired all the time and yep it all came back. Now focusing on a lifestyle change. Healthy food = healthy body! It's a lifestyle change. There is no race! Have faith, your body will recover and the scale will reflect your healthy choices. It may just take some time to readjust!
