Now that people are sharing their own hCG experiences, I am almost overwhelmed by how insane this diet really is. Case in point, this was posted this week on one of the hCG forums by a member who looked pretty young:

"Hi every one ... not sure if you noticed I haven't been around for a fair while... I had massive heart attack on Sunday morning ans still in intensive care .. they put a stint in as a blood clot got lodged in an artery in my heart .... so needless to say my diet is shot to pieces as I've been on all sorts of IVs and was on life support with feeding tubes for 2 days ... I've tried to eat things with out sugar but its impossible as all I can really swallow is liquids ... apparently I was dead for 20 minutes and paramedics kept me alive but broke a lot of ribs .. a small price to pay ...
Anyway that's where I'm at .. haven't read any progress hope every one is doing well .."

The following posts were expressing shock and then sharing their own losses for the week on this diet.
Spend some time looking. Heart attacks are not uncommon on this diet. I posted in the last week of a young mother who died from this diet and their are posts online by people who do believe the 500-calorie diet killed their loved ones.
My heart was affected. I am incredibly grateful that I stopped before this could have been far more serious
edited to add: SparkPeople does not allow pro-hCG posts due to the dangers associated with this diet. If you want to share a pro-hCG post, you would have better luck posting on an hCG forum.
